"The hottub was really the sweet spot, cabin was nice overall, the a/c and airflow sucked, had difficulty sleeping due to lack of airflow and it being hot, big bear is a little packed and overrated, not much to do. Good if you want a weekend getaway, not much else."

"We enjoyed our stay and didn’t have any problems while we were there. This a self-checkin place, so we didn’t meet any staff but everything was well explained and provided in advance that we didn’t need to contact them. The location is also a few minutes from the village, which is very convenient. The one thing that we were not prepared for was the coyote screams in the middle of night, but now that we know how they sound like we won’t be scared next time."

"The place is older so don’t expect everything to be brand new but, it’s clean and cozy. Lots of heaters, fireplace, hot tub in room and in the middle for pricing. Staff is very helpful and was available to help us with the tv and fireplace. Definitely recommend but don’t hit for persons with super high expectations. "You can check into the property by texting and then you are issued the lobby and room codes. I didnt know this and Expedia doesnt provide the property with a phone number to be contacted at. Andrew was great and very approachable and helpful. The main building needs to be opened up to air out the lobby and hotel area upstairs. It had a dusty odor. Property is kept up nicely. "The fireplace worked,but the jet spa didn't, the blinds need replacing & the other window was above the tub,so hard to get to. The mattress was so old & lumpy, I hardly got any sleep, the lazy boy chair didn't stay extended. The Location was great, the area was serene & quaint. Accessible to downtown & restos."

"My room door could be opened easily with a credit card or butter knife . I asked the front desk for another room they said there were no more available until I showed him video proof. Then in the middle of the night they tried to take 1,000$ out of my account. My bank stopped the transaction and shut my debit card off . I had to use my credit card for the remainder of my stay. "Rom/Cabin was roomy and cozy. It had a fireplace which needed wood. I did not use this. The pool and hot tub was nice and used during my stay. Very quiet location with the exception of highway noises. The property is good for dog owners with area for dog walking and potty stations. Very enjoyable stay"
