"This was not the hotel portrayed in the Expedia ad, The outside was terrible as was the inside. The coffee maker didn't work, and the tv remote had a mind of it's own. The hydro went off at 6:30 am, so no air conditioning , or breakfast . The mattress and lamp shade, were terribly stained, so we slept on top of the bed, instead of in it. The carpet was stuck down with duct tape in areas, and the room had not been dusted in ages. If I do not get a full refund from Expedia I will never use them...

"I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden."

"This is a very tired hotel, the hallways had a very unpleasant odour. We did not have body wash in the shower and were told to come get it for ourselves, I would not recommend to others."

"On paper the location of the Inn seemed decent. As my cab pulled up to the drop off area there were two people sitting on the ground next to the doorway, they appeared to be intoxicated. Someone knocked on my door during the night and tried to unlock the door. Not the best experience I've had at a hotel."
