"Our superior room was looking tired and we didn’t have all the amenities in our room that are described on this site ie slippers,robes,coffee maker,espresso - the listing needs to be updated as I believe we have been “missold”
No lift and a lot of stairs to access our room
Breakfast was not as good as expected - the cooked breakfast was poor, poached eggs were hard and there was only one choice of pastry on the continental buffet, only one choice of milk and only cubed sugar that you can’t...

"I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine.
Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church.

"Some refurbishment going on but this did not interfere with our stay. The breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. The bar was well stocked and a marvelous selection of spirits. The room was very well maintained and comfortable. "
