Nous avons été aussi un peu déçu de l’accueil froid de la propriétaire, pas franchement à l’écoute et peu prévenante: nous avons certes eu 1h de retard sur l’heure d’arrivée mais personne pour nous...

"This is a very peaceful hotel with a nice pool and beautiful landscaping. The town and main road can be overwhelmingly loud and busy at times, so it was great to have a little oasis of calm just outside the main centre. The room was comfortable and well appointed and all three breakfast options were tasty. "

"Clean room and property. Free breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom did not have a door but a privacy screen was available to separate the bathroom from the bedroom. Showers took a while to warm up but never got hot, more like luke warm. But wasn’t too bad since the weather was hot and humid. "

Very good wifi and breakfast. We rented a Motobike from across the road for $25/day which made getting around the area super easy. Would recommend!"

"The bungalow was private and you can see toucans in your back yard. Isabella is amazing, she helped me order food for delivery in the rain, she helped organize excursions, she helped with bike rentals/organized tuk tuks, and recommended things to do around town/best sunsets. Anytime I am in Puerto Viejo I will stay at Villa Roca de Caribe for sure."

"Staff was great, casitas were cute, pool was nice. The rooms however are not very sound proof. Other noisy guests there in the pool or nearby rooms can be heard very well. You can hear TV and other noises in the next casita. "

When the office person finally arrived, Luciano, he was incredibly rude and dismissive. He finally led us to our room after taking more than enough time to check us in. The path on the way to the suite was very dark and I tripped a few times. The apartment had loose bricks leading up to it, even the journey there was unsafe. "Wenn man sich auf das Abenteuer ein indigenes Volk zu besuchen einlässt, muss man sich natürlich auf Einfachheit einstellen. Man schläft auf abgenutzten Matratzen und die sanitären Anlagen haben schon lange keine Reinigung erlebt. Trotzdem war es eine und interessante und informative Zeit. Alle waren sehr gastfreundlich und herzlich, Wir wurden wunderbar bekocht, und man bemühte sich uns vieles zu erklären. Von daher ein unvergessliches Abenteuer."
