"A better breakfast would help. The same architecture in each and every room, with really poor ventilation in the loo make the facility "cheesy", and cheap. Staff are OK, however, likely underpaid and under appreciated. Opening the windows to air the room between guests, or at least once a week might help."

When I arrived for check-in, the employee did not clearly explain how to get to the first floor or where to take the elevator, which made the arrival confusing. The room was extremely small, much smaller than what was shown in the photos online. It felt cramped and did not match my expectations. "We stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was clean and very comfortable. We selected this hotel as we wanted to stay near the airport and its free shuttle made our trips from/to the Airport very convenient."

"Not only was the room wonderful & the staff friendly & helpful, but the pool, steam room, sauna, breakfast room & coffee/fruit available all day was such a plus! We were already doing too much to try the bowling alley… but we will in the future! We also liked how eco friendly the entire hotel was! We highly recommend staying here! It was a short walk to the bus & a very short Uber ride if you need it!"

"The hotel is very nice and well located as an overnight near the airport however there were a few issues worth noting. First the booking website mentioned a free airport shuttle but what it fails to mention is it is only free from the airport to the hotel. They charge 5 euros for the return to the airport and you have to book ahead. That was not helpful for us who were using the hotel as an overnight before flying home. Second, the staff made quite a point of the roof top bar when we arrived...

"The stay was relatively nice but for my two night stay, my bathtub was not cleaned after our first night. I let the front desk staff know at checkout and their response was just "Okay." no apology or request for how they could compensate me for the inconvenience. The pictures for the spa on the website showed people in robes, but no robes are provided, neither were towels. I think the expectation was that we use the towels from our room. The staff were quite friendly at check-in."

"WestCord Fashion Hotel Amsterdam was clean and quiet. It's conveniently located near a main artery leading into the centre of the city. Staff were very helpful, giving us clear instructions for using the bus system to get around. Our only complaint was that the ventilation system in our room wasn't the greatest."
