"The hotel was super close to shopping and has a wonderful view of Inverness Castle, it is also right on the river. Needs some updating and fixing. Parking is down the street a block at the Cathedral where you can pay for 24 hour parking. "

"This is an old hotel right next to the train station. It was very convenient for me to stay the night before my trip to Glasgow. I booked a cozy single room for the night. The room is very tiny. The bed is very tiny. But that’s what I booked. So it shouldn’t have been a surprise. The Bathroom was surprisingly large given how tiny everything else was. The towels were nice water was a bit lukewarm. There was a heated towel rack which was nice. The shower is also very tiny.The bed was comfortable even though it was very tiny and I managed to sleep a few hours. I was really pleased that the window opened. It was perfect for a while so before continuing my trip of Scotland. I was able to leave my luggage while I wandered it round Inverness again. So really this is about convenience. Under the same circumstances I would stay again but perhaps book a room with a bigger bed."

"Hotel was lovely run by a lovely family. Furnishing was very modern and quirky liked the decor in dining room and our bedroom was lovely decorated nice colours and very comfy. There was a great choice at breakfast and presented very well. Lots of smiles and asked if we slept ok. Definitely recommend this hotel and very close to a lovely beach and town centre."

"Beautiful classy hotel with very friendly staff. Kyle welcomed us and made us feel so special. There is also a farm behind the backyard lawn where we got to see and pet Scottish highland cows and their babies through the fence!"

"Excellent location. Our suite was spacious throughout. Parking was a challenge and check in directions to room could have been more helpful. Coffee maker did not work and had no directions. Distillery tour was informative and tasting was very good. Lakeside restaurant food was excellent and the staff were wonderful. "

"Location was good. Check in process was easy. The beds were comfortable. I don’t prefer to degrade but I also want to be honest though. The room was falling apart. There is obvious water damage. Drywall was falling off walls and ceilings. Several old patches. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The bed and bathroom were mostly clean, but the carpet was full of hair and probably hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There were several spider webs on the walls and stains on part of the comforters. Overall the place has got potential, but needs more attention to detail and overall maintenance. So, I’d only recommend it, depending what you’re paying for it."

"Lovely hotel but very steep stairs and no lift, especially if you have mobility issues. No rooms on ground floor and only double room on second floor. Breakfast was lovely. Just wish hotels would think to put sockets beside the bed rather than on the opposite side of the room. Nice room with lovely views of the hills. "
