"Older hotel with small rooms, but pleasant, clean and serviceable. Beautiful views of the lake. Covered parking, nice breakfast buffet. Beverages and snacks are available all day. Staff are helpful and friendly. Poor WiFi connection. Close to shopping and downtown area."

"Close to where were visiting and easy access. Clean room and they catered to my perfume allergies with bedding without perfume in the laundry products. A big thank you for that !"

"The room was very clean and comfortable for our liking and we were next door to the Big Buck Brewery that offered decent beer with a good menu. The breakfast was fine - nothing overly special but there were hot eggs and sausage, with toast, jam, etc. "

"Dinner was excellent. Continental breakfast has limited selection and does not seem to have variety from day to day. Nice options for breakfast/brunch nearby in Petoskey. Very unique property with friendly and helpful staff."

"PROS: Staff is friendly. Breakfast is great. Room is clean. CONS: Hotel is not secure, back entrance door was broken and open all weekend. Newer card readers for room doors, but swivel "U" arm bar had nothing to latch onto, thus making it useless. Missing ceiling tiles in dark hallways. Vanity light in room was very dim. Window in my room was cracked and moldy. Exterior of hotel was missing siding shingles, had chipped and peeling paint, and there was a great deal of trash all around the grounds. Hotel is dated, but they are in the midst of a remodel which is clearly evident by the pyramid of discarded furniture in the parking lot. Hotel did not look like the photographs online."
