"This is a large hotel in the heart of the university. All roads are underground which is a bit confusing for a first time visitor, I looped around twice before finding the hotel car park. The hotel itself was reasonably pleasant, if a little dated. The room was spotless with a nice shower. However the hotel restaurant was too busy at lunchtime to eat there without a reservation. But what I found most annoying is that although I had picked a hotel with a swimming pool, this was not actually...

"The room was very functional, staff were helpful, I had more or less everything I needed. My only annoyance was that I left the "do not change the towels" message on the door, and this apparently means "don't touch the room at all" - no bed service, no refills for coffee capsules. Apart from that no complaints whatsoever."

"The check in was quite long and the guy left the position while I was waiting for my key...then another lady came and gave me a key...When I arrived at the room I found out that someone else was already there....I had to go back to reception and start again... when finally I was in "my" room the wifi did not work at all...I waited half an hour without success....only in the following morning quite early the wifi worked"

"Hotel itself was mostly clean and comfortable. Room was a decent size, clean and bed comfortable. Front reception staff very unfriendly, especially the young guy that checked us in. The room cleaner was lovely. Outside of the hotel was revolting. Graffiti as far as the eye can see, homeless people everywhere. "Reception staff were very helpful and attentive. The room was very dated and not particularly clean especially the bathroom which seemed damp. There was very loud drilling/construction noise which seemed to be coming from within the hotel and the rooms are not soundproof. Very good location."

"The bedroom was great , lovely decor & a very comfortable bed BUT the bathroom was clearly in need of a major refurbishment - it was extremely dated and in poor condition - the shower attachment was in the bath but the tiled side of the bath was so high that I could not get in to have a shower. There were 2 sinks but one only had a dribble of water coming out. The finish on the tiling around the sinks and the boarding behind the toilet seat were clearly suffering from wear and tear. "Nice and clean hotel. Rooms were really nice and had nice coffee making facilities. The food on site was okay but the breakfast was very expensive at €22.50 per day. There did not appear to be any recreational facilities, i.e. no pool or gym, but I may have missed these so it may be worth checking before you book.
