"Although the hotel was clean, modernly updated, and very nice, the price point was still pretty expensive. We felt that the breakfast buffet in the hotel could be much cheaper per person, like $15.00 per person instead of $31.00! The hotel will still make plenty of revenue by lowering the cost. The rooftop bar was also way overpriced. Parking in the self-parking garage was also very OVERPRICED! Our room was clean, beds were comfy, and amenities in the room were nice but if you think you may need a microwave to warm up leftovers, you can request it at the front desk because the rooms don't come with one, something I wish I would have known. "

"The hotel room had a noticeable urine odor as soon as we walked in. We also observed mold on the bathroom ceiling, which was concerning. The following day, we had to call the front desk twice to request new towels, and it took five hours for them to be delivered. While the hotel looked appealing in the photos, the reality was quite disappointing and misleading."

"The Glidden House is a beautiful and well-kept property. It is very clean, the staff are great [friendly and helpful] and the breakfast is terrific. We stay here at least once a year. The surrounding area is safe and is surrounded by the Botanical Gardens, the Art Museum and a Natural History Museum, a University and is very close to the main campus of Cleveland Clinic."

"Im sure this isn't indicative of a normal stay at this hotel. with that said, on this particular night, the fire alarm went off 2x in room and hotel several hrs apart overnight. the sound was excruciating and it took forer, 15 to 25 minutes , if not longer, for the overnight staff to turn off which made for a horrible rest and my ears are still ringing 12 hrs later"
