"This was in a lovely location and the Manor and grounds are immaculately kept. They have lots of little touches that make your stay more personal, like jute bags and eye masks in your room, ice creams round the pool area etc. The service is excellent and the staff are lovely and really make your experience here unforgettable. "Dino is a wonderful host. The common area is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. There were fires burning in the evening and morning to allow us to warm up from chilly weather. We stayed in room 1 and it was gorgeous. Breakfast was really excellent with lots of options. One unexpectedly important feature was the close proximity to town allowing us to walk in both directions. The grounds were so beautiful. The view on our porch of the sun rising was spectacular."

"Ashbourne House was such a great find on Franschhoek, it was close to restaurants. Our room was very spacious and clean. Parking was just off the street but seemed secure. Breakfast was delicious with good choices from the menu. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the guest house, they had thought of everything to make your stay comfortable.
