"Very comfortable. The breakfast is really good and the service is great. I had no view from my room (no. 1) but I can't blame The Habit for that - the location is very convenient, being in the town, and sitting on the patio to eat supper it was easy to forget where I was. I felt comfortable to walk in the evening to get something to eat, but might not do that once it is dark."

"Upon arrival we realized this is not a farm but a little small holding. All units less than 15 feet from each other. A Large Barn is also right opposite the cottages where workers are staying. Drawers in kitchen not in good condition, small stove in a terrible condition. Dead ants in the cupboard. The Sunday morning the workers who stay in the barn opposite the cottages were painting and playing terrible and very loud music. This was not a nice Sunday morning on a farm. They are the most welcoming, kind and considerate staff. I had a bit of a stomach flu and the entire staff was going out of their way to help me. They made me ginger tea and the chef made me chicken soup. It was so nice. I highly recommend this property and Franshhoek as a place to visit. "
