"Breakfast overlooking Lake Como was outstanding. The walk to/from town and train station was not wonderful. The staff, especially Matteo, were amazing. "Hotel Royal Victoria was an overall wonderful experience. Varenna was crowded with tourists but our refuge was the Hotel, its relaxed vibe, comfortable rooms, and its superior staff. Whatever we needed, it was taken care of: Hard to get dinner reservations, shuttle rides to difficult locations, accurate guidance for the ferry system, etc. The morning breakfast was outstanding and the pizzas at The Grill were delicious.
