Magnolia Hotel St. Louis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. The breakfast was exceptional, and the lady that took our order\served us was wonderful. The coffee maker in the room is my only real complaint It did not work well and made really bad coffee. No coffee available in the lobby."
"After my shower, as i went to get in the bed. I noticed stains on my sheets. the stains had an odor which led me to believe that it was bodily fluids. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN"
"From Ty and Jimire at Valet, to Marquis for check-in at the front desk, Jay at Good Press, Drummond for check-out, and to all team members we spoke to, I was enamored at the level of involvement and genuine concern for my happiness with our stay.
We came into STL for a concert at Enterprise last night and only stayed the one evening. Thankfully, we made time to embrace almost all amenities offered by 21C. Work stations were plentiful and peaceful.
My morning started with a quick dip in the stunning pool. Glad they kept so much of the original work as part of the Historic Building qualifications. Just beautiful. Everything related to those amenities were stellar. The moon rain experience, sauna, and gym were all on point. Exactly what I needed!
Good Press was awesome. Had the smoked salmon and a chai tea latte. Perfect a setup for breakfast and reasonably priced. Ate while I worked in the not so busy lobby and got tons done.
Didn't eat at Idol Wolf, but did get out back to the sitting area behind the hotel. All spaces were clean, thoughtfully put together, and extremely well designed. The exhibits all over brought a different, special touch to the hotel. The 24 hr accesible museum was unreal and from my understanding, switched up every so often. HAPPY to be present for Future is Female with my MIL and BFF, especially when our trip was centered around Mother's Day.
I would easily return to this location if ever in STL again. HIGHLY recommemd."
"Room was clean, earning 2 stars. However, this location is right next to a kid's theme park so the indoor pool is a huge selling feature for families. A lot of kids all over the place. Hot tub was broken. They said it just happened, but it's in other reviews and they were downright rude about it. Food provided at the happy hour is hotdogs, chips and cheese... kid themed food. Would not stay here again. Parking is $19."
