"My room was clean and I paid a little extra for a larger suite. It was worth it. Staff friendly but not very accommodating. I asked if my friend could get a room on the same floor as me at first I was told no but then another agent assisted with getting it done. My friend asked a few times about late check out and was told to check back the next morning. You can pay $50 to stay until 2pm. The bar restaurant is nice. The bagel shop across the courtyard is good."

"Bed wasn’t very comfy but everything else was good for a quick overnight before our flight out. $10 per night to it leave your car there if leaving it there while flying out. Little pricey compared to other hotels but you save with their nightly rate. Good amount of choices for breakfast. Second time staying here and will use again, but will probably ask to change rooms for a more comfy bed. "

"Nice location and affordable, BUT upgrades are needed. Elevator buttons dont work properly. Bathroom needs to be re-grouted, stains on the couch. The underside of the blanket had old cigarette burns. Other than that. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful."

"The Comfort Inn Shady Grove was very conveniently located, with restaurants within walking distance, along with access to the Metro bus and also close by the Metro Red line train. The hotel felt very safe, with overnight security. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hot breakfast was one of the best I've had in a moderate priced hotel. There was also free onsite parking in a well lite lot. This is definitely a good place to stay in the DC area, at a very reasonable price."
