"The beds were some of the worst hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. All spring, no cushion. The A/C barely worked and despite being the end of June, the pool was closed. Without any breakfast, a restaurant that stops serving food at 9 and being a significant distance from establishments offering food in general, and amenities that were unusable, this place was disgustingly overpriced and such a disappointment."

"Some bedding should have been switched out, the sheet on the box spring had a spray of colour… The room could have used a more thorough cleaning, something from the previous guest was in the drawer."

"Have stayed at 9 -10 hotels / motels during rhis 3 weeks visit of Brirish Columbia and this Howaes Jhonson was undoubtedly the worst among all. Stayed here twice and both times it was disappointing. The dirst room had bad smell of smoking that other travellers have mentioned also. The second room had no hot water. Left the shower open for 10 minutes but no signs of hot water. If one of the breakfast item is finished, you ll have to fo to the reception ans ask them to refill that whixh they...

"Laut Aussage des Mannes an der Rezeption bekamen wir ein Upgrade. Eine Suite. Im vorderen Raum stand ein Sofa, der darüber ausgebreitete "Bezug" hatte riesige Fettflecken, teilweise fußballgross. Die zwei vorhanden Stühle hatten ebenfalls Flecken auf dem Sitzpolster. Die Küche sah total heruntergekommen aus. Der Toaster war dreckig. Einzig der Kühlschrank war sauber - wohl weil er neu war. Das Bad war klein und total verwinkelt. Der Duschvorhang hatte Stockflecken, wir haben die Dusche nicht...
