"There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."

"When I can I always use the holiday inn express.
Poole was just as normal,
I don’t need entertaining swimming pools saunas spas etc
Nice comfortable clean room just got the best pillows and bedding,
And just a superb breakfast.

"Room was very clean and comfortable bed - staff were upbeat, really friendly and helpful. Parking was great and bar very pleasant atmosphere - enjoyed a good laugh playing Bingo. Good breakfast and evening meal."

"Great location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, nice toiletries and great selection of coffee and teas. Great food and drinks available onsite.
Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there. Robes would be nice as well as body lotion or hand cream in the bathroom."

"Hotel is in an excellent location. The outside swimming pool ,gate access to the beach, and the outside veranda were excellent amenities. Breakfast was very good, with a varied choice.
For a 4 star hotel, the decor could have been a bit better. Our bedroom was quite small, extremely hot ( no air conditioning - just a fan ) and wasn't hoovered when we arrived. I appreciate it wasn't one of the upgraded front rooms with view of the water,
but could have been much better for a 4 star hotel."

"The property is situated in a quiet setting and just a few minutes walk from the magnificent seafront. Being a Inn and a weekend stay.. quite busy during the day and early evening, but to be expected. Staff were very polite and helpful and the food was to a very good standard.
