"Hotel is new. Great to be out of the city as we were exploring the surrounding areas.
Check-in staff were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Check out was likewise very easy.
No problem getting a park underneath.
We ate at the restaurant twice and rooftop bar - great views. Food was fantastic.
The Wait Staff were coping with high volumes of people and doing as good a job as possible. Friendly, but couldn't answer questions, didn't know the menu, but what was truly awful was their managers....

"What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. "the Hotel is more like a motel with separate buildings behind the reception. However, design is modern, almost like a small resort, and great access to parking and to the main street of Hahndorf. The rooms are a good size and the bed is super comfy. One thing I am particular about is a good sized towel and their towels were bug and fluffy.. The rooms have a fridge, sink and tea/coffee which you dont really need given the great coffee in the area. Would totally stay here again"
