"Staff was excellent. However the A/C didn’t work effectively. The bed was hard. No microwave in the room. "

"The bathroom was my only issue, it was relatively clean but the shower wasn't the easiest to work and looks like it needed some repairs as the shower knob was popping out of the wall whenever you turned it on and the part of the ceiling was peeling off. Everything else was great and had a nice view"

"This hotel although old and tired looking was very quiet and the beds comfortable. The rate was low and still included a free breakfast. There were allot of choices at breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area could definitely use an update or refresh."

"Stay started off terrible, chose pay at the property to check in on 3/20 -3/22, but was charged 1 night without notice on 3/17. Then upon check in was told to pay a $150 incidental deposit which is an extreme amount at a Holiday Inn and this was not spelled out in any correspondence. I negotiated down to $100 incidental fee. I am not happy with the hidden actions and fees. 3 stars"

"A great change of pace when it comes to your weekend stay. The staff was great, the rooms were nice and clean. If you're going to an event, you're only a 3 minute walk to the spectrum center. I highly recommend. "

"We three travel every spring together for a girls weekend. This definitely was not a hip trendy walkable location, but it was convenient to where we wanted to go, clean and new! Bonus was Free parking (as much as $40 per day in most areas of Charlotte!) and free breakfast. We did not use the indoor pool but the gym was very nicely appointed with everything I needed to get my morning workout done in comfort. I was honestly surprised and impressed with the equipment and cleanliness! Overall not fancy, but very comfortable for the 3 of us! No complaints at all!"
