"Outdated room, felt gross"

"Good hotel, very reasonably priced, close to the university of Manitoba and Superstore. To improve: blinds are definitely not blackout, which is challenging in spring when the sun is up early, and when your window faces the parking lot with extremely bright floodlights. Unfortunately it was raining two nights and there was a dripping sound outside the window that was so loud it sounded like someone was popping microwave popcorn in the next room. Would be nice to have a kettle and iron in the...

"No tv remotes. No wifi password. Walked up the stairs and the top landing looked like a storage shed with broken furniture and garbage."

"The room was clean and comfortable. However, I wasn’t able to make full use of all the amenities during my stay. The included breakfast was also quite limited—only a coffee machine and cereal were available, which was disappointing."

"I particularly liked that the rooms were clean, renovated and well organized. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only issue I found was a shortage one morning of hot water but it appeared to be resolved on the morning we left. All in all it was good. Thanks Again!"

"The room we had was recently re-conditioned......very nice. The hallways to the room were quite narrow....it's an older building. The restaurant Altos was excellent...especially the buffet! The nightclub was busy on a Saturday night...numerous people outside smoking."

"Check in was wonderful and the staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean with no odours or lingering scents. Pool was a lot of fun for the kids and the hot tub was great for the adults. The breakfast was fantastic! Everything that was Gluten free was labelled - and they made the eggs and sausage GF - which rarely happens at other hotels. Will definitely look for Best Western first for future travels."
