Lovely staff and location. I asked for a room with a bath on check in, they asked for an extra £30. The hotel was quiet so this was a disappointment. Limited menu and the food was okay. The back of the hotel where our view was contained empty bottles on the hillside and a water pipe! It’s tired but the pleasantness of the staff made up for it.

My friend had to leave due to a family emergency and the hotel was so good of taking care of me. The staff was absolutely accommodating. They allowed me to change rooms and I had a wonderful view of the Fife. I would highly recommend staying here!

Its was easy to get to and the staff was very friendly. The room could have used some maintenance. Ceiling paint peeling and the shower had mold one the caulking. Beds are comfortable. Overall the hotel is comfortable, clean and safe.

Okay for an overnight stay.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful, nice little breakfast. But hotel is dated and could do with new carpets and update. We were next to a stairway with a fire door and as there was a wedding on the doors were left the BANG shut for hours.

The hotel staff could not have been more helpful to us. They were attentive without being over bearing and responded to all requests from customers without hesitation. Food was absolutely superb and excellent value for money

The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful! The room needs a little bit of attention as the water pressure in the shower was poor and the room could use a deep cleaning.

Disappointed

Did not stay the night as room not up to satisfactory standard. Manager was excellent giving full refund. Couldn't change room as hotel fully booked. Offered a discount on a return visit.

Amazing view - great staff

Stayed in room 10. Bed very comfy but the bathrooms had loads of hair in the bath. Definitely not mine as I have very little ! If you do stay in room 10 please be very careful of the taps if you run a bath. The hot and cold are reversed and the hot is VERY hot- and on the wrong side. Reported to reception. Also the room backed into the kitchen / cellar building and something was noisy- sounded like maybe the air on fan for the cellar Food was ok but just standard fodder

I loved the balcony view. I will admit: it took me several attempts to get the balcony door open to actually enjoy the balcony itself, but I was determined to sit with my cup of tea out there and watch the water.

The staff where very friendly and attentive, food was excellent, the bed was comfortable. The shower was good . My only complaint would be the tea and coffee was cold and toast was served 10 minutes before the cooked breakfast was served. The breakfast itself was hot and good quality. We would definitely go back .
