"Really enjoyed staying here for a couple of nights . Conveniently located for a stay while visiting the beautiful gorillas of the nearby Volcanoes N.P. The staff was super nice, the tent was cozy and was surrounded by the gorgeous peaks of the 5 volcanoes. Food was good and the property dog friendly and cute. Couldn't ask for more."

"Due to the proximity of this hotel to the current Ebola outbreak we gave advance notice of our need to cancel. Many hotels on Expedia will give 100% of your reservation back for a cancelation. Some have a more restrictive 50% refund policy. This was the only hotel in our travels that had an unfair and unreasonable cancellation policy. We even reached out to the staff but unfortunately they were very unresponsive. I recommend looking for hotels that are customer focused. This hotel is not."

"Nightmarish experience. I was traveling with a friend who wanted his own room. We booked this hotel at the last minute as it was close to the NP HQs. We arrived at 7 pm to find no front desk, just a bar area that was manned by a young lady who stated that we couldnāt stay as the owner had not been paid. Then the owner called stating that it was late so we could stay and that payment could be discussed in the morning. The hotel did not have wifi as advertised, there was no running or hot water...
