"All the staff (regardless of what time of day you interacted with them) were very pleasant and got along with one another. The longevity of their time working for The Super 8 in Dunbar is a testament to how they’re treated by management. I stayed at the other 2 hotels in Dunbar and the owner has a big turnover of staff. If you like black mold and questionable bookkeeping (ie., billing inflated) don’t reserve at the Super 8. If you like clean rooms and honest billing then the Super 8 is the place...

"The lobby has dried mud all over. The first room they gave us smelled like teenage boy locker room. The second room was clean. The bathroom ceiling had black on it though. Refused to shower in it. Breakfast was passable at best. There isn’t many choices to stay in Point Pleasant that’s why it got a 3. Otherwise it would have been lower."

"It was okay for the price, peaceful and clean. Sadly the mattress was a bit uncomfortable & springy. I slept on top of the comforter and used my own. My room was clean and smelled great. The tv bit small for king size bed & room size. The channel selection was pretty basic. Small fridge worked. Very small microwave & it was a bit dented up but worked. I wouldn't mind staying there again if the price is right. Ive paid for nicer at same price or cheaper. I was worried about the reviews especially...

"The TV channels and reception were terrible. All analog. There were lower channels that looked like they were working off a set of Tin Foil antennas. Really need to fix this."
