"We went for a week with two kids (10 and 8) and had the best week. We did the all inclusive, which I would suggest as the à la carte prices add up, especially with drinks. The beach is amazing and so easy to access. We seam in the pool for hours every day. The food was great, especially at the Italian restaurant that you have to reserve in the morning. Breakfast buffet was delicious and fulsome every day. We had such a fun time. We would love to go back some day. "

"The staff and food were excellent. This is not a fancy hotel. Close to the road and simple furnishings but it was clean and surrounded by trees and plants making it a tropical oasis. You can easily walk to a well stocked grocery store on your way to Brasilito beach. To get to Conchal beach you have to walk from Brasilito due to private property that prevents beach access. Beautiful beach. "

"3rd time to this resort. The Westin club rooms and pool area have improved but food selection and quality has slipped a bit. Premium liquor package did not include pinot Grigio and still a bit suspicious of alcohol content in the whisky I had; I never got a buzz! The concrete paths throughout the resort need a good cleaning and re-coating. Happy with our club level suite and room amenities. Dinner reservations are a bit of a game…club personnel made them for 4 days in advance when we arrived but after that had to use the app which was frustrating. It only works same same and have to log on at 8am. "

"It’s a locals hotel and as I have 30 years experience here I’m used to the Tico way of life. With that said clients need to know a couple of things- the music starts at 8 am and runs until 8 at night. It is well known that if one buys a drink in the bar, this allows you to swim. When we were there a small bus with about 30 Ticos arrived and proceeded to get severely drunk and violating all the pool rules. "

"Can't beat the location right in the beach Hotel Brasilito is at the centre of it all. Good restaurant with amazing ambience -beach view and live music - attached. I would call this more of a hostel than a hotel though because accomodations are rustic. Down sides were that there is no safe for valuables, windows don't lock in ground level rooms which can raise safety concerns for some, very limited parking and no water bottle fill station was an inconvenience. Also the ceiling fan looked so dodgy once turned on we decided against using it. Overall though a great little spot and we would go back."

"What a fabulous time we had staying here! The location is absolutely perfect, within about an hour to Liberia airport in good traffic, 2 hours to Tenorio National park, super close proximity to Brasilito and Flamingo. The amenities are amazing - the beach club and access to the W hotel. It is a safe, pristine locale with ample to do and Howler Monkeys to boot! The Concierge service provided by Essence Conchal was amazing. They took care of everything! I highly recommend!"
