"Incredible family run place with a lot of charm. Everything is thought through and the rooms very well equipped. Right by the beach and very accessible. I found it a bonus as well as it was very close to the trail that leads up to Boggy Peak (aka Mount Obama) and one can do hike up to the summit and back within 3 or 4 hours. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything has been perfect for my stay here."

"Perfect place to unwind and recharge. The food and drinks were superb, and the staff were friendly. We had a wonderful couples massage. The entertainment was low-key and quaint. We highly recommend getting a bungalow with a plunge pool since the beach cabanas are in the sun by mid-afternoon."

There was loud construction in the lobby, only 2 restaurants were open our entire stay, had to switch rooms due to pungent smell of seaweed. New room had brown-tinged water one morning, and no blanket or comforter on bed. The bedding consisted of pillow, flat sheet, and fitted sheet. No blanket or anything. "Honestly, I wish we never booked here. However, it was last minute and we heard it was a good place to stay, that mustve been a looong time ago. FIRST, we paid for ALL INCLUSIVE and it felt like it didn't include anything. The room they gave us was not what we saw on the website. Fridge was empty. No room service (had to ask for towels and washcloths) Room was never cleaned, Bathroom door was broken. There were time slots for breakfast (7:30am-10am), lunch (12pm-4), and dinner (6:30pm-10pm)....

"We loved our stay at Cocos. The hotel staff were lovely. The food menus changed each night and were all delicious. If you stay at cocos definitely be sure to book a couples massage and a dinner on the beach. We found both to be well worth it. Paddle boarding and kayaking were our favorite activities. And the beach bar had great lunch choices right by the beach."
