" Small rooms but very clean"

"I love staying here and have done so a few times while travelling. It's a gem, especially if you have pets. My dogs aren't as stressed as a large hotel, and the setting is peaceful. I always give 5 stars, but this trip was a bit less-enjoyable than the others. I had a room with 2 beds. I starting getting into one of the beds, but the sheets had so many pills on them, they felt rough. So I had to switch beds. The other was fine. The rooms are usually very clean, but this one was a bit dirty. The edges of the room and behind the door had accumulated quite a bit of dirt and hair. Finally, I had always wanted to have breakfast on the patio of the restaurant. I brought my little dog with me. Coffee was served on a styrofoam cup, and the food was also served on styrofoam. I was disappointed to see a state park, who I would assume is environmentally-aware, would use styrofoam. I eat outside a lot, because I always have my dog with me, and there is no need to serve an adult on styrofoam. Between the environmental impact and transfer of chemicals/microplastics, I would expect better from a state park. Every staff member I encountered was kind and very helpful. "

"The Steak house was over priced for the quality of the food. But the hotel itself was amazing and clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was so attentive. We don't gamble, but the live band was highly entertaining and fun. It was the highlight of our stay. We would stay again."
