"Location is perfect. The back garden is a slice of heaven on a hot day, as it’s sheltered (from the daily beach wind) and quiet. On weekends/holidays the beach out front is very busy. The staff are absolutely over-the-top helpful. The ice cream store next door is a bonus!!"

You had to collect the keys in a different place in a box with the code provided, and walk 15 mins to go at the place. Our room number was 409 which the quality was so bad, old furniture all around, some appliances so old when you can think not functional apart the coffee machine. "Incredible experience at this wonderful hotel. Even though we arrived pretty early, they were able to check us in to one of our rooms right away. They also generously upgraded our other room. "many things, the room manual with places to eat and historical locations to visit. The shower was so nice and LARGE. Nice to be able to turn around and not bump into the control handle, or bend over to wash your toes. The bed was very comfortable. The Air Conditioner actually works. Plus we did not hear any of the other guests during the night, but we know new guests arrived and departed during our stay. Also great location, easy to walk to the City Center, or take a bus to any part of the city....

"There was a strong smell coming from the drains, and the hotel was extremely noisy. Guests coming and going, or socializing in the common areas, kept me awake late into the night. The staff were friendly and service-minded, but unfortunately, the overall experience was not positive."

The tap in the room was noisy and the floor was dirty on the day we arrived. The hotel is along a narrow road and not easy to find parking nearby. Staff are nice bit not always at reception. Buffet breakfast is only continental - eggs are not available."
