We really enjoyed our 10 night stay at Pedras do Mar resort. Great facilities and some really nice staff. Beautiful location and only 15 mins by car to Ponta Delgada. If you want to be able to walk around a town and choose from bars/restaurants every evening this is not the resort for you, although having said that, a taxi is only 15 euros in to Ponta Delgada where there is plenty to choose from. Serene environment, great staff and shops nearby.

Villa had all you could want, ingenious design . Very helpful staff who went out of their way to help in any way - good tourist info , and the restaurant was excellent. Trying very hard to make this new venture a success- they deserve it! Location great for the long sandy beach and wave watching.

Clean, kitchen had everything that was needed. Sea views. Staff so helpful, above and beyond what was expected. Use of hot tub, swimming pool, sauna, turkish steam room and gym. Even a playroom for kids. Only issue was that the laundry was really expensive. A washing machine available to guests would have been useful even with a charge.

Hi everyone. This hotel is located in the north of the island and easily accessible from the capital, Ponta Delgada in 20 min by car mostly in a motorway. Its right on the coast with a beach a few meters away. There's nothing bad to mention about this hotel. Its clean, friendly and full of the right amenities for a place with this classification. From the minute we entered the hotel we were impressed. Staff at reception were amazing.we were taken up to our suite by Paulo he explained everything about the suite how stuff worked, told us about the bars in the hotel he was fantastic. I spent a short off-season break at the Marina Atlantico Hotel. The hotel is modern, clean and furbished to a high standard. It provided a perfect base to explore Sao Miguel.

Lovely garden setting a 20 minute walk from Ponta Delgado centre. Full of character and a real antidote to business / tour group hotels. Great staff and swimming pool was perfect for relaxing. Unheard but warm in September.

What a fantastic hotel. Situated in the heart of the city making it easy to navigate. Pedro and his staff cannot be more helpful, always with a smile and genuinely interested in making sure you get the most from your stay. Arrived to the hotel 2hrs late at 12pm late due to flight. Were met by a friendly night receptionist, who welcomed us and gave us a quick run down on the facilities and the various timings. Throughout our weeks stay we had no issues only good helpful encounters with all the staff in the hotel.
