My room was supposed to be a king size bed . It was not , it was a queen . The bathroom and carpet need to be updated . Other Marriotts that allow pets have taken the carpets out and allowed for a cleaner atmosphere . The staff padding in the hall way were friendly . The desk staff were also friendly . Paying for parking was not mentioned into are arrival . Ridiculous to add that fee .

Was really dated… Stains on the carpeting, dents on the refrigerator… Not really well-maintained. Bed sheets are rough and uncomfortable and our 15 year-old complained of feeling the actual bedding’s on the sofa bed. Was really surprised by the cost of the room—even though booked day of—I’d presume this room was last available bc it has NOT been updated so the hotel books the room last. I won’t plan on staying here again, would take our chances somewhere else. Truly was surprised.

The property was very beautiful. The room was very nice but when I checked out at 8 o'clock that morning, I went to the front desk and asked if I could have a late check out. I asked for one, but she told me she could only give me till 12 30 12 o'clock. The man came knocking at my door saying that we had to leave. I told her that I had a 1230 checkout. She said, that's not on her list very rudely. Then she proceeded to tell me that she was going to go to the front desk and check. I said, please do that. Then when I checked out exactly 1230, Mary was at the front desk. When she proceeded to check me out, I said, can I get a receipt? That's when she informed me that there was a $15 fee for the room I said when I checked in, nobody told me about that. I don't mind paying the $15. It's just the principle of it when I told her about the maid service and I told her about the parking she cocked an attitude with me when I told her that I was going to write a survey regarding that, then she waived the fee.. this property doesn't communicate with their maid service of what's going on. At 12 o'clock, I had company over talking business and then I get a knock at the door rudely by maid after I was already told from the front desk, employee not Mary, but the other lady.That was there at eight o'clock that I can stay till twelve thirty. When You call then on miscommunication , they get very rude at the desk. We pay a lot of money at this property and don't deserve rudeness.

The hotel is quiet or at least has been for the times we are there. I think it is because the guests are probably business travelers. The staff is friendly and the breakfast good - only disappointment is that they served Canadian bacon instead of bacon. The room had the bedroom seperate from the living room and the kitchen. I usually cannot sleep in hotel rooms because I feel trapped with nowhere to go should I toss and turn. Not this time, I slept very well - could very well be that I didn’t feel that claustrophobic feeling.

We stayed (3 adults) in a two room suite. It was large, comfortable, and more convenient than separate rooms. It was also less expensive than booking two separate rooms. The staff were dry friendly. The breakfast (included) was decent. The food was average, but there was a wide variety of choices and plenty of both hot food and cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruits.

Overall the property is well maintained and the rooms are clean. The property is very close to 101 and Old Town Camarillo, outlets and restaurants. The major issue I had was deceptive pricing. Orbits/ Marriott does not disclose there is a $15 self park per day charge. You find out about the charge when you check in. Pricing that you see on Orbitz is NOT the final price. They should be more transparent in their pricing when booking.
