"The staff was very helpful and attentive. It’s an older property so there is some wear and tear that could addressed. The free parking is a great perk. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, ham, yogurts, toast, bagels, fruit, juice and the option to make a fresh Belgian waffle. Close to the Casey’s arena formerly known as the Wells Fargo arena. Not far from downtown. Overally we were really happy with the stay. We would definitely book this property again."
"So many problems. The parking lot being closed for over a year is absolutely unacceptable, especially for the handicapped. Guest are to park in the hospital parking lot and walk at least a quarter mile with all of their luggage just to check in. With the number of transients, horrible lighting, and lack of care from staff, safety is compromised for guests. Rooms are severely outdated with peeling wallpaper and mold. Thermostats in the rooms do not work and are just there for show because the heating and air conditioning is an old system that is single source controlled. This is leading to the mold growth and musty smell.
Frankly considering this hotel serves a major trauma center, it is absolutely ridiculous the property is in such a run down state."
"The breakfast was cold, they did have a microwave to warm it up. The same items though for Saturday and Sunday. But sure if they switch it up during the week. The gym was basically weights. The treadmill did not work and the bike you couldn’t move the seat up. The floor in the gym was wet not sure why. Pool area was very hot just to sit in there, dont know about water temperature though. No elevator, there are only 2 floors but if you bring a lot of stuff that’s a lot of going up and down the stairs. Some staff didn’t speak English like for the breakfast area, had to let her know the milk was empty. Beds were comfortable."
"Ok for one night…would not stay again. Stains on the blankets, micro pillows and you better be below average size to fit in the bathroom. Nothing as advertised. The halls were dark and musty smelling…I couldn’t imagine having a conference here."
"The reviews that complained about this place must have been nothing but straight up haters! My first "outing" after cancer treatment and the hotel was amazing... the front desk were courteous and house keeping even was nice to my grand son that came with wife and I.
If there was a complaint , it would be ppl that had no business parking in handicap parking were parked in assigned spots most of weekend...management should check that occasionally as sometimes it was hard for me to get though garage and parking lot."
