"I was skeptical before booking this hotel. However, it turned out really nice. Clean and renovated rooms, comfy bed, convenient location, easy parking, nice staff. Even-though it doesn't look like it from the outside, this wasn't any less from a Marriott or Hilton chains."

We did the Bow valley trail to I40 which we had done before a few years ago. This time the road(gravel track) was in a very poor condition (although now being repaired) which made the drive very hard. Had to concentrate on pot holes not scenery.

Lake Louise and Moraine lake very busy - an hour's wait for the shuttle bus so we didn't bother and went to emerald lake instead
