"Hotel Cannobio is gem. "

"A bit difficult to find as it is in a pedestrianised zone and hotel parking is limited, but the place itself was very nice. Quote a distance from reception to our room in another part of the hotel, but we were right on the lake with lovely views. The room and bathroom were clean and adequate for our purposes (overnight stop). Breakfast was good, and we were lucky with the weather, so ate outside on the terrace. Plenty of restaurants in the area for evening meals."

"Die Zimmer 211und 212 sind in der hintersten Ecken des Gebäudes. Aussicht ins Dickicht. Teppichböden!!!! Im Zimmer 211 kam Rostwasser aus der Leitung (zum Zähneputzen nicht geeignet!!!!). Ein Wurm kroch die Wand hoch und eine Spinne machte es sich auf der Bettdecke gemütlich. Richtig grauselig."

"The hotel was centrally located . Easy shopping and lots of dinning options around. The only comment is the AC in the suit kept turning off as if on timer which I had to wake up every 1-2 hrs to push the bottom back on. "
