"Excellent staff as always and a late checkout. Rooms could do with new refrigerators.
Plus as a woman in the gym on her own it would be good to either have the walking machines face the door - or have mirrored glass on the wall opposite the door so I can see what is happening behind me and who has come in. "
"There is nothing fancy about The Abbott - it provides accommodation. But it does that very well. The experience seems formulated on the expectation that guests will source all their meals externally, which is reasonable given the close proximity to a multitude of eating places. Also easy walk to the piers. Inside, the room was quiet and comfortable. Great shower, good array of complimentary toiletries. We enjoyed a Superior room with street frontage (room 201); would recommend trying to obtain...
"We had a great trip here, lovely spacious apartment in excellent condition, and the location is perfect. Pool area was great and the staff were very attentive. Think some of the reviews are a bit harsh, it may not be the most luxurious 5 star in the world but it’s certainly an upgrade from a 4 star. We’d stay again. "

"Best trip and hotel in the world! The employees are kind and super accommodating. Don’t need to worry about anything they are organised e.g. they booked a shuttle for me and I didn’t even provide any details and they came into the airport to find me. Food is amazing at Alucco and room service was amazing too! We will be staying here again very soon! "
