Nice room, fast check in, disappointed to hear that the restaurant was closed, this wasn't advised at the time of booking, had to get a just eat which took ages, not a lot of choice

Comfy bed and close to train station

Newly refurbished room, but... the TV didn't work because you needed to sign in to Apps and WiFi signal was poor. The noise from the toilets were ridiculously loud and different ones going all night long. There are only ceiling lights, so really bright, no side lamps/lights. The place was clean, comfy bed and gpod location for train into Cardiff.

Very clean friendly and helpful Only issue was fire exit light being slightly intrusive in middle of night when I woke up in the middle of the night but that is health and safety.

The hotel was previously a run down property which has undergone a complete refurbishment by it new owners. Opened in September 2024 I was one of only a very small handful of clients that evening. The hotel served mainly Indian food but wow the meal I had was superb and obviously cooked by a chief with great experience . The rooms themselves were serviceable, neat but lacked the quality to make it a premium hotel. Would I stay again, yes and try another great meal.

Cardiff concert sleepover

Was attending the Lana del Rey concert ! In Cardiff city centre and most hotels were full or charging ridiculous prices ! So I was pleased to be about 20 minutes from city by train ! Decent price very comfortable and near to train station

Could not fault the stay we had. The room is very light, airy and everything looks brand new. Really large room with lovely big window. The bed is very comfortable and the linen all smelt really fresh. Breakfast isn't provided, which we knew about, but there are tea and coffee facilities in the room. The only thing we weren't told about was how to turn the power on for the shower...this is a switch on the wall outside the bathroom. No noise from the road so had a very peaceful sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

Just opened so a few things to work on. Bedroom comfortable but no hairdryer, only towels for one person and tea and coffee not replenished after first night. After hours entrance was strewn with cleaning materials and not great. Lovely staff though.

Little gem of a hotel

I booked this hotel at very short notice, due to visiting the area as a surprise to see my daughter. On arrival the whole building was spotless, and after a short wait, I was greeted by the proprietor. The gentleman was extremely professional, happy, polite and gave the warmest of welcomes to his establishment. He promptly booked me in and escorted me to my room. The room itself was immaculately kept and clean, it was also more spacious than what I expected and was tastefully decorated. I was informed that after 21:00 in the evening, access to the property would be via a dedicated security, key card door at the rear of the property, to avoid going through the bar/restaurant area. I was so impressed with my stay, I shall be using this venue for future trips to see my daughter.
