Upon arrival the front desk staff (who was so rude and not accommodating at all) told us our reservation had been cancelled. "Had to turn the water off while showering because it wouldn’t drain and would overflow the pan. Hotel appeared to be under renovations? Outlets didn’t work in the room. Staff tried to be helpful, but I got the feeling management was just trying to do cheap repairs and nothing really worked. Housekeeping was sub par. People serving breakfast were kind."

"It is a great hotel for families with children. We stayed there a few days and had a pleasant experience. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool, and we took advantage of a summer weather and used the outdoor pool. The hotel is near the Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown. We used the EV charging station at the hotel to get to points of interest. "

"This is a very basic stay. Room was relatively clean; however, there was no hot or warm water - staff never told us upon check-in even though we found out a pipe burst a few days prior and it hadn't been repaired. Curtains didn't open or close, air system was difficult to adjust, and the walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything outside your door. Prior to booking or staying, I recommend asking when the room was previously stayed in and whether there are any issues."

"AC was great and actually turned it to heat as the evening was chilly. Everything was clean and tidy. Beds very comfortable and good shower !!"

"There was drywall in the pool from the hole in the ceiling, there was hair all around the bathroom, stains on the mattress, holes in the walls, and I had to clean the surfaces. The staff was great, the space was nice, it was just neglected old doesn’t have to mean dirty. "

"My room had crushed dead bugs in it and hair on the floor near the bathroom sink. And I didn't have a full size towel in my room. When I took a shower I had to use a hand towel to dry off"

"The breakfast was ok. Eggs, bacon,sausage sometimes biscuits. No potatoes or grits. Cereals, muffins and bread for toast. Juice, coffee and yogurt. The coffee was very weak to the point that I could taste the cream over the coffee even after a staff member changed it. Otherwise it was ok."

"Great hotel for just a quick stay overnight. Very comfortable. Didn’t really se the amenities. Breakfast was simple and adequate. Can’t complain about it at all. And a great price to boot!"

"Friendly staff and clean room. It wasn't an issue for us, but the bathroom door did not shut. That could definitely be awkward for some people. I saw some notices on the walls about strict polices that were not mentioned online, including no more than 2 people per room and no guests, but it wasn't an issue in our case since we just needed a place to crash for the night. The exterior could use some sprucing up. There was a shopping cart full of bricks and a few mattresses just chilling out front....
