"The hotel and room were clean. Most staff were very helpful and pleasant except for the young lady at checkout. Was not friendly at all! Breakfast was good! The towels and washcloths were very cheap. Thin and hard. I would recommend bringing your own. The hotel was in a great area. I would recommend but don’t forget your towels and washcloths!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. "The entire hotel looked a bit run down if one looked at it up close, but the inside of the room was acceptable and the bed was comfortable enough. There was also good water pressure in the shower. However, one of the handles on one of the drawers was broken and never replaced, and the bathtub needed to be resurfaced.
