"Let me start with we could not find this hotel. Our Uber driver couldn’t find it. We had to walk around and Google Maps could not find it. Eventually had to call and get directions. Once we found it, check in went smooth. Location is great right in the center of the walled city. The balcony was nice to sit out and listen to the bands down the street. The breakfast was good. There was a language barrier but we were able to use Google Translate and get everything figured out."

"My son and I really enjoyed staying here. The location was great to be able to walk to restaurants and the Muelle de la Boguedita is close by, which was awesome for meeting our boat for our day trip. The kitchenette was great to have and the rooms were a nice layout. It is near a lively area so some nights were quieter than others, but we had no problem getting rest. The AC was really good and appreciate that as we came in one of the hottest months."

"We stayed at Hotel Casona del Colegio from July 9–14 and overall had a wonderful stay. This charming boutique hotel is beautifully decorated with lots of character. Our room with a private balcony and hot tub was spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect—within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping, bars, and many attractions. Despite being in the heart of Cartagena, we slept very well.
A few issues kept this from being a 5-star stay. I noticed two small roaches in our room...
