"The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable on all things Belize. The food was always delicious. Room keeping came at least twice per day and left delicious treats at night. The organic garden is beautiful and is part of the food menu!! Fresh and delicious food. We participated in the Mayan cooking class it was fantastic. We also completed the Xunantunich Historical Site tour and Cave Tubing through the hotel- excellent guide and we learned a lot about the Mayans. From the moment we arrived - we were offered cool hand towels and a refreshing fresh fruit drink to the moment we left, we were treated as VIP’s. Will stay here again and recommend to our friends!! "The staff here was very friendly at this low key hotel and they offered a reasonably priced shuttle service to and from the airport. Sylvia in particular was so nice and attentive in her waitressing and her efforts to find me some Belizian coins. :-) Rooms are small but were clean and have everything you need. It was historically cool when we were there so did not use the pool but the ambiance around it and the pool bar was relaxing. Breakfast is good and they can make it to go if you are off to see a cave or Mayan ruins. The dinner menu is a bit limited but everything tasted great. Hode’s place restaurant is a short walk down the road if you are looking for a wider menu selection. A grocery store is also across from the hotel so the location is great. I would recommend this place!"

"This resort is beautiful, peaceful and a wonderful place to stay. The staff was so nice and made our stay special. The restaurant was great, although the dinner options for vegetarians weren’t always amazing. Excellent breakfast and lunch. Our room was beautiful and secluded, we stayed in number 10, which had two beds and although we just used one bed, it did give us some extra space and extra room and did set us apart from the other rooms. The treehouses on property also looked beautiful. The pool area was great and we spent happy hour there most days. They have a great happy hour with 2-for-1 drinks that are only $10-$12 so that was an amazing deal! There are many fun adventures to be had in that area, we thoroughly enjoyed our four-day stay. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Rooms are a bit older but very clean. Beds not the most comfortable but otherwise no complaints. The staff, especially Levi, really went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. We had an issue with a tour not showing up (due to vehicle issue) and Levi was very responsive and helpful!"
