"The room was cozy and quiet. The shower has great water pressure. Check-in was a little chaotic, as there is a small area to park out front of the hotel and it was full. Parking in the garage was easy. The breakfast was worth the extra couple dollars at time of booking.
Overall pretty clean, the building does show its age and the glass on the balcony door looked like it hadn't been cleaned since last summer."
"We were impressed with how clean it was. I always take disinfectant wipes with me to clean things we touch like remotes, door handles, etc. The wipes stayed clean except for a little bit from the refrigerator door handle. I have found that to be disgustedly dirty in other places, but not here. We also found the bed to be very clean and comfy!"
Country Inn & Suites By Radisson, Dunbar - Charleston
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed one night with my 2 kids. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful with any needs. I usually have a hard time sleeping in hotels however, I slept soundly! Great breakfast."
Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Downtown/Civic Center
8/10 Good
"Clean. But Parking fee for two nights was ridiculous on top of what we were already paying for the two nights. They charged use for two nights. The parking lot was barely used."
"Finally. A clean friendly, nice smelling hotel for a reasonable rate. Even the breakfast was better than average. Really a great value when you consider the competition."
"The hotel has a wonderful view of the Kanawha River. The room is spacious but does overlook the road, so you will hear cars throughout the night. The staff is friendly, and the food is good. This hotel is a good value for the money."
"How helpful that front desk was when I checked in. He was very kind and welcoming.I didnt like the parking and that they only had one ice machine working. But overall I was satisfied I would definitely stay again."
