"Staff were amazing and super helpful with providing activities at the hotel as well as helping book activities like a sailing tour. Rooms are super unique and comfortable, loved the shower. I wanted a small hotel with a dock access on the water, FREE water sports, parking, and close proximity to Bacalars downtown area, Hotel Carolina check all those boxes for an amazing price. The treehouse style rooms are so unique. I couldnt have asked for a better stay."

"Beautiful grounds right on the lagoon. Easy to pop out and see the sunrise. The rooms were small but tidy and had most of what was needed. Only wish there was coffee earlier in the morning since breakfast didn't start until 9 am."

"Perfect hotel for relaxation. The view is breathtaking. The room was huge we liked the separate toilet and shower stalls, the multi use shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We would have liked a bottle of lotion too. The on-site restaurant patio was a real bonus, the food was delicious and plated beautifully The waiters were very personable and professional. "
