"We booked a family ensuite room at what we thought was a hostel for our one night in Queenstown not expecting much, and were very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable, clean, and just generally nice the room was. It happened to be the night that the World Cup semi final was on at 7 AM, but we couldn't get it on the TV in our room. "We spent a week there and overall it was pretty good. Having a kitchen was handy, allowed us to make our own breakfast and dinners which saved from eating out all the time. Unfortunately, daily cleaning wasn’t up to scratch, often they didn’t replace bathroom mats, face towels and some kitchen food sanitation essentials. The kitchen closed at 5pm so you would have to make sure to place your orders before 4.30pm for pick up by 5pm. There was a lot of construction, which I assume would be great...
