"Im not the one to leave reviews unless I absolutely think it would help other guests. The condition of the room was deplorable. The bathroom was 2x2 and no space to even accommodate a toothbrush and I am not exaggerating. The carpet looked dirty and smelled old. Staff was friendly, good location but i would not go back to this hotel. I recommend you look around for other properties that are renovated or more modern. I hope this helps. "

"Was offered an "upgrade" to a suite with ample room for my family and me, from a double queen city view room for $100 extra a night. Upon arriving at the suite, there was only 1 bed. Apologies and additional bedding arrangements were offered, but never came. The bathroom was not cleaned to the point that rings from the previous guests' products were still on the counters. None of the outlets would hold a plug, and the automatic blind system would malfunction and then die out, causing awful noises and then needing to be manually opened/closed."

"No AC in room. Heat set to 65 degrees, ran all night. Shower drain clogged."

"Absolutely horrible service all around and room was tiny especially the bathroom. Literally had to close the bathroom door to get into the shower. Day 1 we received a letter on the door stating we are being charged a $500 cleaning fee for smoking in the room but the issue is nobody in the room even smokes!!!! I went to the manager and explained to her nobody smokes and she then insisted I call my credit card company to file a dispute instead of helping me (the guest) remove the bogus charge! The bar states it closes at 11:30pm but that is false as well. We showed up to have a drink before we went to the room at 11:10pm and was rudely told to go away! The last and final night we received another letter stating that the water to the ENTIRE hotel would be shut of between the hours of 11pm and 8am??? Never in my life have I ever been without running water and a toilet to flush! Great location but grimey hotel and terrible service. Bartenders cared more about talking to each other than the guests. Insane! Made my 5 night stay a bad experience all around. Shame on the management as I am in the hospitality business and would never treat any guests like this! STAY AWAY FROM MSOCIAL TIMES SQUARE!!!!"

"Would not stay here again. Pros:The lobby is beautiful and it is close to EVERYTHING in Times Square and Broadway. There is a small coffee shop downstairs and a bar. You can store bags, different price both times we used it. Cons: Had to have maintenance come to our room 2 times because our room was 78 degrees. They were out of conditioner..really? You can’t stream Netflix on the tv without a chromecast device HDMI. The elevators, are HORRIBLE! You would select your floor and it was skip it or take you to another floor. Did this multiple times when I was on it. I would stay at another location. "
