"We had only 1 criteria for booking a stay which was it had to gave a pool and hot tub. We were in Bend to ride bikes. Post ride hot tub was a priority. When we get there the pool hot tube area was gated and required a pass key. The host provided no pass key. When confronted the host gave me a song and dance then suggested I flag someone inside the area to open the gate.We paid for a hot tub, we shouldnt have to act like dirtbag ski bums poaching a hot tub. "The location of this hotel is very convenient, with lots of restaurants nearby. The room that I stayed is clean and spacious. With the location being convenient comes with a lot of noise outside. The windows aren't sealed enough to cancel out the noise. The gym is ok, it does not have a treadmill which I get you should be outside exploring if you're visiting. "A very good value for the price of a quick-stay room while we were in town for a memorial service at a nearby cemetery. Pool and exercise room (we did not use these, but they were available), and a very nice morning breakfast bar with lots of choices were included. It can be a little tricky to get to the parking lot or from US-97, as the highway has a center divider that blocks turns in one direction. Staff was friendly, parking ample, and the lot was clean."

"The hotel was under construction, a burst water pipe, and because of the construction the room with two queens we reserved was not available so my wife and I and two teenagers had to share a king and a sofa bed with an extremely uncomfortable spring mattress. The paint fumes were also unpleasant. We were offered an unsatisfactory $20 discount at the hotel's convenience store. "
