"High rating for a reason. Something about the building and the staff is very soothing and welcoming. "

"Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at this hostel. When I arrived, I had to wait nearly an hour before anyone showed up at the reception, which was already not a great start. "The shower in my room did not work. The water was not draining properly and flooding the room. So, they moved me to another room. And that shower did not work either. I was so over it. I was there 3 nights and they still never fixed it. I won’t be going back here."

"perfect location for my solo trip"

"Very noisy neighbouring bar playing loud music on one side of the hotel every night until midnight or 1am. It's an old grand house that is losing a lot of quality and has been converted into a jumbled café full of stuff. The staff are very friendly and kind. The beds and linen are exceptionally comfortable. One of the showers needs a lot of maintenance."

"Best staff, perfect location, amazing atmosphere"
