Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Iasi could be simple and straightforward or it could drag on forever. We've put together some useful hints that will help you start your next great adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, pack in your passport, official ID, credit cards and medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling book and a phone filled with your favourite shows are some terrific options. If you plan to take a short nap, a neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll hop off the plane looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Make sure you don't have sharp or pointed objects lurking in one of the zippers of your hand luggage. Other restricted items include explosive or flammable substances, such as aerosol cans and bleach, and liquids and gels in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Choose comfort over style. Prepare for changes in cabin temperature by donning layers, and wear flat, closed-toe shoes like slip-ons.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Make a point of walking around the cabin or do some simple exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
