We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight as pain-free as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be breezing through the airport and enjoying Kyjov in no time flat. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a comfortable experience if you've got all the right gear. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean set of clothes and something to read. Next, leave space in your hand luggage for your phone, tablet and chargers, any medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and poisons, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to be as comfortable as you can. Go for easy-to-remove footwear, dress in loose, natural-fibre clothing and don't forget to bring a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Make a point of walking around the cabin or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
