We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight a pleasant experience. Follow our tips and you'll be speeding through the airport and enjoying Porsgrunn in no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be easy if you pack the right things. First things first, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as lip balm and hand cream, a spare pair of socks and a good read. Secondly, leave space in your hand luggage for your laptop, a charger, medications and perhaps a neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel papers and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and fireworks, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of your aircraft are not the place for a fashion parade. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a sweater as it can get chilly inside the cabin. Closed-toed, flat shoes are also a wise idea.
- Unfortunately, a risk of long flights is developing DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged inactivity. To prevent this from happening, take every opportunity to wander around the cabin. Compression tights and socks are also a great idea to help lower your risk.
