We’ve got the lowdown on how to make your flight as stress-free as possible. Follow our tips and you’ll be speeding through the airport and exploring Punta Rucia in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a cruisy experience if you carry the right things. First things first, you’ll need toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a clean set of clothes and a few magazines. Next, find room in your bag for your phone and charger, your important medications and perhaps a proper neck pillow too. Lastly, remember to bring your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosols and fuels, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of your plane are no place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfy clothing and remember to bring a cardigan as it tends to get cool in the cabin. Enclosed, flat shoes are always a good idea too.
- The serious condition known as DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a potential risk on long-haul flights. It’s the result of blood clotting due to poor circulation. Doing leg and foot exercises in your seat is a great way to prevent this occurring. Wearing a good pair of compression tights or socks also helps reduce your risk.
