We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey as stress-free as possible. Follow our insider tips and you'll be breezing through airport security and discovering Tisno in no time flat. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a comfortable experience if you pack the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean set of clothes and a good book. Secondly, find room in your carry-on bag for your mobile phone, a charger, any daily medications and perhaps a cosy neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to bring your passport, travel papers and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and poisons, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- You'll want to choose comfort over style. Prepare for temperature changes in the cabin by dressing in layers, and pick flat, slightly roomy shoes like slip-ons.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
