"The location for our visit to Meijer Gardens was good. Although on a busy road, you avoid Downtown Grand Rapids. The room was clean & spacious. The breakfast outstanding. We didn’t take advantage of the managers reception but they served good & free drinks. Our only disappointment was that the pool was small & crowded."

"New owners, the restaurant was not open, the bar was not open, am breakfast was very minimal due to restaurant not being open, general cleanliness was subpar, no mattress or bedbug protection on the mattress, one elevators not working, the one elevator that was working took a very long time to get to you. Not at all what was shown on the online pictures and information. I would not have picked this hotel knowing that everything was closed and not operational."

"Our room was at the end of the 2nd floor. We checked in around 7pm and were surprised to find piles of dirty linen outside 2 doors near our room. Our room was very clean so we wondered if something happened to the person who was responsible to clean the rooms. The night clerk said that he found the maid's cleaning cart left in the middle of the hall of the first floor and he also wondered what happened. Since we arrived at 7pm and had taken a shuttle from the airport we were hoping the hotel...

"The property was what one would expect of an older facility. Room was sufficient and comfortable. Check in and check out was easy.
The only thing we found odd was that the advertised Airport Shuttle ended up being a private owned six seat Suburban like vehicle that had a hard time handling luggage for and the five passengers that morning. And the owner/driver didn't help with the luggage loading or unloading."
