"Room was clean and spacious but everything else left a lot to be desired. Room was ice cold when we arrived (with an infant). I used the control panel in our room but after an hour the temperature was still the same - when I went to reception they informed me that the control panel did not work, and that it was centrally controlled, adding if we got too warm to ring reception to adjust - why not just fix the control panel(s)? "This hotel was a bit of a surprise. The set up looks more like a motel and we were concerned there would be noise from the parking lot but it was fine. Our room appeared recently renovated and was very well thought through & appointed. No complaints! The restaurant sits right on the river and has a wonderful breakfast so be sure to sign up for that. Lovely view & you can watch boats go by while dining. Lovely, helpful staff. We were very pleased and would be happy to stay again."

"The hotel were it is situated is a perfect location for visiting chester etc. On arrival the staff at the reception desk were very polite ,welcoming and helpful. When going to the room the corridors were very squeaky to walk on. On entering the room again the floors in the room were also squeaky to walk on . Could hear the guests next door. "The room was functional but definitely not spacious. The shower extractor fan was not working, which the cleaning staff were clearly very aware of but no repair, causing the whole room to steam up badly. There were NO 120/240volt 2 pin shaver/toothbrush plug sockets anywhere, only USB, poor. We could see a nice quiet garden from our window but prohibited from using it, being reserved for sauna guests. On our first night one of our guests starters didn't arrive until most others had finished...

"Room was tidy and clean. Staff were helpful when I put the wrong car reg in. Lots of space in the accessible room for someone who is severely visually impaired and a baby. Parking is easy to find and a petrol station with Starbucks, Greg's and Asda service is right next door. Conveniently situated near the main road."
